Hi! We are Verity & Claire Co-Founders of Sible.

So we are the duo behind Sible, our "work baby". We met several years ago in the corridor of our children's nursery and as with so many mums we didn't know about each others corporate backgrounds. With our combined experiences in management, sales, buying and retail coupled with our passion for sustainability we knew we had to work together. 

Sible for us was the answer to a few things playing on our minds. Firstly we really wanted to bring sustainability into our lives as much as possible, every visit to a coffee shop was a reminder that we weren’t supporting a circular economy because we weren’t bringing our own reusable cup. 

We found that the majority of reusable cups and bottles were simply too bulky, heavy or would leak, which as mums or on our commute to work was a problem when finding room for one in our bags.

We started to look into collapsible cups as this felt like the best solution to our problem. For us Sible meant we could bring sustainability into this part of our lives and would also fit easily into whatever bag we were using or activity we were doing.

The Sible cup and bottle is now a staple in our families’ lives. We find them so enjoyable to drink from and they really are the most convenient size to fit in almost all bags without fear of the dregs ending up at the bottom of them thanks to the silicone cap fitting and the handy waterproof, drawstring bag included with every Sible.

We were so inspired by the difference using these cups and bottles made to the environment that we were really keen to make other people aware of the benefits as well.

There is so much in the world that we can’t change but this really is something we can make a difference with!
